Monoclonal Antibody Infusion Treatments that May be Available [In Texas]

Washington bureaucrats, who are basically controlled by the big pharmaceutical companies, have refused to recognize these safe, inexpensive, and effective therapeutics in the fight against C-19. While the bureaucrats have persistently offered no preventative or early intervention therapeutics, they have pushed the ineffective and dangerous drug Remdesivir once a person has been hospitalized.

However, one experimental drug that has received FDA Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) is Regeneron, a monoclonal antibody. The approval is only for out-patient treat during the first ten days of symptoms.

Texas has been quietly making this treatment available for several months through Infusion Centers, but because there has been little to no public promotion of these centers, few Texans are aware of their existence.

To request infusion of monoclonal antibodies and a medical team at your facility, you may call the 24-hour State Infusion Hotline at 1-800-742-5990 or go to the web site meds.tdem.Texas.gov.

Monoclonal antibodies are laboratory-produced molecules that act as substitute antibodies to restore, enhance, or mimic the immune system’s function to attack foreign cells, in this case the C-19 virus. These treatments attack a C-19 protein making it more difficult for the virus to attach to and enter human cells.

These treatments are designed for non-hospitalized adults and children who have recently tested positive for C-19, are within 10 days of symptom onset, and are at high risk for progressing to severe C-19 and/or hospitalization.

The purpose of this post is to make as many Texans as possible aware of this FDA approved early treatment and provide the information.

Being informed of all options is key! Be sure to share with your family, friends, and loved ones.

I asked my doctor the other day what therapeutics he was prescribing. He said an infusion of monoclonal antibodies and an oral steroid.

Sounds like good advice.

I think it may be wise to get infusion as a prophylactic if one is at high risk, i.e. older with co-morbidity. But it may be hard to get unless you have a positive test for covid-19

The best advice is this: If you become symptomatic seek immediate professional help and don’t just try to treat yourself with the various therapeutics... demand antibody infusion!

There is a steroidal inhaler called Budesonide that is being used for covid...ask your doctor about it.

This post is unfortunately no longer much applicable, thanks to democrat politics. The Biden adminstration suddenly decided to Federally ration REGEN-COV for what they clain was political “equity” between states (gosh, Democrats want states right?). Amazingly in addition to hurting all people who need the drug, those Democrat actions are also going to have new “systemic racism” side effects. Here is a headline from Breitbart comments on FR:

“President Joe Biden’s decision to cut deliveries of monoclonal antibodies to southeastern states, in what critics have called a politically-motivated effort to punish Republican states, could end up sentencing black people to death from coronavirus”:

Another comment from me on how disgusting this is to suddenly block programs that were up and running with these treatments:
