So the Iranians have the weapon and can analyze how it’s made.
Fembots would have been way cooler!
One of the movies that coulda been is The Jackal. A remake of a pretty good movie.

R2D2 killed someone?
When I first read the headline I was thinking they blew up the guy with one of those bomb disposal robots.
2016 shooting of Dallas police officers

In the early hours of July 8, police killed Johnson with a bomb attached to a remote control bomb disposal robot. It was the first time U.S. law enforcement had used a robot to kill a suspect.[11]
New York Slimes update on a late 2020 story. they forgot the Mossad dolphins who swam the weapon into Iran under cover of darkness, directed by some Hebrew-speaking Mossad recon crows. Thanks Eleutheria5.
Feel free to design one
I believe the movie was “The Day of the Jackal” from 1971, and was remade in the 90’s as “The Jackal” was released in 1988. The later version starred Bruce Willis and Richard Gere.
And that is fascinating. 51 years ago when computers were so primitive, compared to today, someone had the vision to predict such an event.
All the more reason to be very concerned about some of today’s predictions.
But the real problem is: Which?
Day of the Jackal, with Bruce Willis.
They tried to make him confess, but all he did was beep and boop.
Look to the old movies. Silent films were made of manned flights to the moon. Metropolis was about a sexy female robot inciting a destructive riot for a robber baron trying to put down labor unrest. Red Dawn was about teenage guerilla fighters beating back a foreign invasion (OK, the Soviets were the invaders, but the concept’s still likely. Now it would be an Islamophobic hit called Ameriqaa. Maybe Mel Gibson will produce it). Terminator was about time travel and killer robots targeting the future leader of human resistance to a robotocracy. The words of the prophet are not written on a subway wall. But they are written in old movies.
They’re unmanned submarine drones, disguised as dolphins. Can’t trust real dolphins. Some of them are Taliban.
Yeah, the gun in the car trunk definitely. The rest of the show is almost a documentary of Albuquerque.
[inevitable old joke follows] That figures, the Taliban have no other porpoise.
