It makes more sense if you realize - in the eyes of Fed.gov and especially America’s elites - IT NO LONGER MEANS ANYTHING TO BE AN AMERICAN.
America’s history is corrupt and evil, we are in a new world of globalism, so all that matters is having correct ideology and the power to enforce it. Americans can be left behind in Afghanistan, while new uncorrupted citizens from anywhere are allowed to just walk into the country. You are easily replaced.
