The Constitution doesn’t “grant” anyone the right to do anything. It’s purpose was to define what the federal government can do and what it is prohibited from doing. Your rights are inherent in your existence and granted by God. If the Constitution were abolished, your rights would still exist.

Stupidity is rampant, ask them who is thier congressman, their senator, their VP or president, who fought in WW2, who fought in the civil war........I rest my case

As Sen. Kennedy recently said; “You can’t fix stupid; even with duct tape”.

It applies to college age and really anyone who believes this kind of thing. They will likely be low IQ low info drones for life.

Disagree. Term limits for Congress is not in it.

I stand corrected. But the way they viewed it, there wasn't a need for it. But now it's needed so jump on the Convention of States bandwagon and help promote it.

Here’s a proposal.

These brain-dead leftards can be segregated into a separate population, those for whom the Constitution doesn’t apply. No rights described by the Constitution at all. Can’t vote. No legal rights. Nothing.

The rest of us will continue as before.

I’m sure that will make them happy.

“They have NO IDEA what they are asking for.”

Thanks to our failed education system. Our only hope it’s the millions of kids being homeschooled.

It most certainly is in there. They're called periodic elections.

“These people were not in my ChemE and EE classes.”

Probably because are to busy at the library studying or in labs doing experiments to be out wandering around campus answering stupid surveys.

“They have NO IDEA what they are asking for.”

Or taking a step back, they have no idea what they already have. They are looking for an equality that doesn’t exist anywhere in the world. And it won’t as long as the evil of man is in charge of it.

There is nothing in the Constitution that disqualifies the privileges of this country to anyone that wasn’t entered by man after the fact concerning inequality. So this document set standards that man is failing at either through action or being allowed to by people that only care about themselves and just sit back doing nothing to help.

So, does the document need changing or do the people? The document has been operating for 232 years, over 11.5 generations, and we are still here and the best there is for people. But not without changes modifying our morals or rules for seeking the safety of our citizens and future ones. They just can’t get it.

It’s easy to blame the document for the failures of the people blaming it. And the document fails because of the people, not the document, if it is actually failing, which it is due to the changes. But rewriting it isn’t the answer as it will contain more to separate the citizens worse than it is now. Maybe they should just delete parts of it that are redundant and harm anyone. Nope, too easy.

Yeah, but too many brain-dead (and regular dead) folks vote too.

...they are too stupid to know what they are really asking for.

True - they want government-enforced fairness, believing that mandatory 'equality of results' is desirable. They don't realize that mandatory 'sameness' means dissenters (possibly including themselves ;^) get a bullet, or a one-way ticket to the gulag...

Yes but we all need to realize we all take a slice of responsibility for it. They are a product of many prior generations.

What a great analogy, only they don’t know they are in freefall.

They simply want to discard the chute ‘cause their friends told them “those things are so uncool” and if you want to stay friends with us, you can’t be seen with that thing on your back.

retards and unfortunately voters

“If the Constitution were abolished, your rights would still exist.”

The Declaration of Independence says “We hold these rights to be self evident”. But thousands paid for them with their lives. Chairman Mao said freedom is a power which can only emanate from the muzzle of a gun.

Mao was correct.
