Yes true. But this is Canada so keep that in mind. The majority are socialists and this might be the best we can get. Think about the fact that the left is split between FOUR parties and still conservatives cannot win.
There’s a lot in this but the bottom line is that the Conservative Party isn’t Conservative on anything starting with money.
Canada now a trillion dollars in the hole moving into the big league of debt with COVID spending.
All they want to do is shift the way money is spent they are #MeToo on any liberal issue of the day name it.
Dr. Jordan Peterson and Rex Murphy were lamenting this in a podcast I watched the other day.
Max Bernier is about fiscal responsibility for starters, then moving onto personal liberty.
His anti-vaccine stance expands his base in a way that doesn’t even affect the Conservative Party of Canada.
Anti-vaccine is both a Right and Left thing since some Anti-vaccine people are upset over Pharma as a big business that is irresponsible and hurts people with its products and the testing like animals and so on to get their products to the market.
I think Max Bernier has an interesting base of support out there.
But the Tories have shot themselves in the foot again and Preston Manning did it to them in the 1990’s and CPC that later emerged at least had Stephen Harper as its leader.
Erin O’Toole moves the party back in the Joe Clark direction.
There’s lots of drama about Trudeau as a Liberal-Leftist but the Liberal Party’s roots are Liberal on economics.
SNC-Lavalin and Jody Wilson-Raybould just confirm that historic side of the Liberal Party separate from its socially Leftist positions.
The CPC has tried to exploit that issue a bit but a Trump-like politician would have enviscerated Trudeau on SNC-Lavalin.
As it is I see the NDP is gaining seats with that issue giving them some momentum.
O’Toole and Comrade Jason “Vaccine Passport” Kenney are sinking the Conservative Party of Canada.
