Do they really mean $600 and not $600k? This seems absurd.Using the excuse of money laundering from drugs, years ago they made the transaction $10,000. Any transaction $10k or more the institution was required to report it.
All they're doing is making the reportable transaction $600.00 instead of $10K.
this is about going after the underground economy that goes on with people that live on the fringe...this has nothing to do with drug money it has more to do with the person who has a Grauge sale or some other small transaction that makes them money not reporting the income
