Good point I just realize that. You need your phone in order to move around during lock down in China. Coming soon to the USA. If you do not have a cellphone they will give you an Obama phone.

Life in China is dictated by QR codes. Entering a shopping mall, park, or your office building now requires generating a green QR code using an app on your smartphone.

In the future they will require implanted chips when people start leaving their phones at home for privacy.

#4 I believe that is why batteries are glued into devices now. It was simple to remove and replace a battery from a cell phone but most are glued shut. The phone is ‘on’ all the time.
