If Biden wants to play this game, Russia can simply use a third country to package the ammo under a different name.

Biden’s State Department Authorizes Ban on Imported Ammo from Russia

There are rumors that Putin's small arms engineers have successfully mass produced Democrat Seeking Bullets.

Save your ammo when the time comes. You’ll get plenty of targets practice.

What looks like a punishment of Russians is actually a method to disarm American citizens.

Exactly. They don’t need to control guns, just the ammo.

I don’t know about the Ukraine because of ongoing tensions, but one of the former Iron Curtain countries with a year round ocean port.

A ban on Russian-manufactured ammunition?

Well, now, we are just going to have to smuggle it in, aren’t we?

Maybe the Mexican cartels could act as the middlemen on this. Up to now, their smuggling enterprises have been highly successful.

Won’t this lead to buyers choosing the AR platform instead?

I should invest in another AR before demand and declining value in the US dollar discourage.

Ammo is to bulky nd heavy to smuggle in if you are a cartel.

Low margin business. Why do that when you can smuggle in a few kilos of fentanyal and make millions.

Cheap is the operative word, I got a couple cases, 7.62x39 1000 rds for $240, delivered last year.

Now its going for $600.

I guess this means I can sell my 1954 Russian Tula SKS and 1k rounds for $3000, yeah very rare, maybe $5000, lol

Gonna hafta stockpile more tins of 7.62x54r for my Polish Mosin-Nagant, Russians made the best SP hunting ammo for it.

Relatively cheap. Lower quality? I suppose so, since the cartridge cases are steel and non-reloadable.

But it runs through my weapon just fine and always goes ‘bang’ when the trigger is squeezed.

The ammo shortage could be solved quickly if 4 types of primers were available. It has been over a year since I saw them for sell.

Yes, there is still some available, I am told. But it is a horse trade deal and little is being added to the available supply.

Someone in Texas needs to build a primer and brass manufacturing facility.

If Biden wants to play this game, Russia can simply use a third country to package the ammo under a different name. .............................. Lots of other countries would love to have access to our market. How far do we have to look? I say Argentina, Brazil, and a couple of others in S. America would gladly enter the market.

Soon the Cartels will smuggle ammo if the $$$$ is there. We should have no problem getting it, they do a great job getting drugs and people in, whats a few thousand cases of ammo?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought the rule is no new importers. Existing importers can keep on importuning. Stll bad, but not as.
