It's not even semantics. It's a stupid comment being repeated by people who knew next to nothing about RNA, DNA and vaccines before Covid and who are no better informed now.

By their definition Covid itself qualifies as "experimental gene therapy" seeing that it's a positive-sense single strand RNA virus that acts like mRNA. Apparently the natural version of "experimental gene therapy" doesn't scare them since they are willing to try it instead of the vaccine version.

By their new definition of vaccine, anyone getting sick on purpose with anything is now "vaccinated" against it. If I take extra Vitamin C to prevent a cough, the new definition means I am vaccinated against "cough"...
