I was explaining to mrs. jimfree a scenario where Milley’s instructions could be proper or at least not improper and interpreted by Woodward as stated.
If you disagree with your commander, you tell him. If he issues an illegal order, you refuse. IF and WHEN you receive that order.
You DO NOT open a channel and begin negotiating with the enemy because you think he might issue an illegal order at some time in the future.
