I agree that it's amazing.
OTOH, imagine the PR nightmare if the government decided to suddenly shut down VAERS at the dawn of the new vax; that would be politically devastating, too.
Much easier to manipulate the news by limiting the number of cases and deaths allowed to be reported. A relative of mine still in the trenches of healthcare tells me that it's hard as hell to have your entries approved; 14,000 deaths is a joke. The numbers are much worse.

The statistics this year are based mostly on garbage.

My brother-in-law was counted as a “presumptive” Covid death even though he was on hospice care for an inoperable cancerous brain tumor and was never tested for Covid.

My little brother, a Captain for a major airline for decades, has been grounded and his career is probably over after it was discovered he had an inflamed and enlarged heart shortly after being vaccinated.

My mother who was healthy, active and exercising at the YMCA every night became an invalid a week after getting her first Pfizer shot. This has been going on for months. She has lost a bunch of weight and looks like a little death camp survivor.

The only one being counted in any type of statistics is my brother-in-law whose death had nothing to do with Covid.
