Since volcano induced globull warming is making the sea level rise, this should take care of itself in a few minutes, right?
Perhaps the two events are related, but…..

So, the crust above the magma chamber, at 4000 meters is affected by a 40 meter drop in the water level. Maybe. Some have blamed earthquakes on dam reservoirs.
