Available evidence doesn’t yet indicate a need for COVID-19 vaccine booster shots among the general population, an international group of scientists said Monday, including two senior FDA officials reportedly stepping down from their posts over a disagreement with the White House on the administration of booster shots.
Marion Gruber, director of the FDA’s Office of Vaccines Research and Review, and her deputy director, Phil Krause, set to leave in October and November, published a viewpoint in The Lancet on Monday along with other experts worldwide, arguing that the COVID-19 vaccines remain effective in preventing severe disease, including against the highly transmissible and dominant delta variant.

This 3rd dose crap is purely political by the folks who want to keep mandates and restrictions going as long as possible. IMHO, Delta is doing us a favor by driving us to herd immunity and reducing COVID-19 to endemic status.
It’s silly for folks to panic over every single “case” (i.e., positive test result).

All the COVID-19 vaccine shots authorized by the FDA continue to be “highly effective in reducing risk of severe disease, hospitalization, and death,” according to the CDC.
However, recent studies — such as one from Israel and another from the UK — suggest that the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines may decrease after six or eight months and a booster shot may be needed to maintain high levels of protection against breakthrough COVID infections.
