Doesn’t sound like a man who is on the verge of resigning. Why anyone would think he would doesn’t make sense. These people never resign, never admit they are wrong, and have no shame. They will double, triple down.
Did anyone ask him why they allowed the Taliban to use the entire summer, which is their fighting season, to take over most of Afghanistan? I wonder if these Congress critters even know that the Taliban slinks back into Pakistan during the winter ... at least they used to do this.

When each person had five minutes there might have been time for a follow up to a non answer or a lying answer. . Three minutes pretty much ensures that there can be no follow up. Of course Republicans are not smart enough to use their time to follow up someone else’s unanswered question. Each congressman just wants his own soundbite for the news back home.
The committee should prepare for just that tactic.
Blinkin lied about Trumps plan. There was an attack after the agreement and Trump when in blew up some Taliban. The agreement was null and void at that point.
Wish Republicans would bring up about the Taliban offered our military to control the gates and we said no and let Taliban do it.
Bagram, should of brought up about keeping a small troop staying at Bagram just in case things went bad. Someone should bring that up.
