Wyoming is the least-populous U.S. state -- and yet, it was home to one of the first and one of the last American service members killed in the war in Afghanistan.
The first was Army Ranger Spc. Jonn Edmunds, among two men killed when a Black Hawk helicopter crashed in Pakistan on Oct. 19, 2001, according to The Associated Press.
Jonn's father, Donn Edmunds, has a few questions for President Joe Biden. Namely: "If we were going to have 20 years of war" and it was going to end with the Taliban back in control, "why didn't we just go in and bomb them instead of sending our troops over there?"
Rylee McCollum's relatives have been angrier in the wake of his death.
Kathy McCollum, Rylee's mother, called Andrew Wilkow's satellite radio show to vent about the death of her 20-year-old son and place the blame at the feet of Biden.
“Twenty years and 6 months old, getting ready to come from freaking Jordan to be home with his wife to watch the birth of his son, and that feckless, dementia-ridden piece of crap just sent my son to die," she said during the Aug. 27 interview.

I lived in fear from 2001-2004 that I’d get the visit by the military because my son was in combat in Iraq and Afcrapistan. My son called me on a satellite phone after a vicious firefight to tell me he was alright. Mostly he needed to talk to his Dad. Whatever happened this man’s son will be honored by us. This father, his family and thousands like them is why I was a mugwump on the issue of our withdrawal all along - understood the practical matter of our departing yet always worried just what honorable had to mean to our troops that were killed or forever maimed there. Never had a good answer either way.
However, my prime belief is (a) do no go to any war without the intention of getting total unconditional surrender of the opponent, and (b) do not conduct any war effort that you will politically hobble the military from achieving in WWII style - nothing held back. nothing kept off limits, nothing held out of range, and EVERYTHING possible devoted to the effort.
So what in he hell are we the people supposed to do, for our troops, when our political class fails to do that?
Yup. I feel crushed every time the tunnels to towers comes on with the kids that are horribly maimed. Not to mention those with PTSD we don’t see.
