Some truth to that but most people have no idea how entrenched and effective the RNC/GOP really is. They are not giving up and they are not going away. The party is very good at making reps dependent on them. Very, very good.
The GOP does not, and never will, represent the interests of conservatives and their values. We need a new party that actually stands for something because the old one is a waste of our votes. We stand no chance of ever restoring greatness in this country until we rid ourselves of the feckless and useless GOP. JMHO
I don’t care how the people rise as long as they rise. I think it would be more assured without a new party but JMHO

There is a tremendous lot of dead wood and of malignant actors in the GOP but the forest can be cleared of debris and we can go on with the war chest, favorable districting and many other advantages of being a long standing party.
