Genesis until now of the vaccine has been a complete cluster bleep. And I for one am disappointed and frankly pissed off that Trump (still no comment on Biden’s mandate) still not come out and owned some of it and become a better man for it and a better future candidate for it so we know he won’t make the same mistakes in the future of trusting people that he shouldn’t trust.
Because when he runs COVID will be in the rear-view mirror and yet the thousands of booster-vaccinated that died of breakthrough infections under Xiden's watch through the mid-terms will still be top-of-mind in every voter.
What does he need to 'own'? That he produced ventilators, PPE, testing resources, medications and money to develop a FREE vaccine under Warp Speed that performed BRILLIANTLY against the original wild Wuhan, and, that is holding it's own against the variants coming out of unvaccinated areas that have no protection? A program that Biden bungled?
Trump has saved millions of lives with his vaccine, many of them our parents and grandparents and some of them grandparents in foreign lands. That's all he needs to own.
And the left-originating smear campaign against him being spread by 'independents' should be called out for what it is. Smearing Trump for a virus that mutates, or a vaccine that doesn't achieve absolute goldly perfection, when no vaccine in history has, is stupidly playing right into the left's hands of deliberate, if the dems can't claim it nobody will, sabotage of a Republican election platform plank.
