I believe my Fortran friend works at the distribution level, calculating costs of selling and purchasing power across systems.

Sounds like transmission. Either way, we are precluded from talking to one another. There are walls between generation, selling of energy, and distribution people.
Next thing you know, we could get together and skew the market in our favor.

The problem is that the “vaccines” do not have anything like the efficacy promised. We would appear to be far from herd immunity, if it can even be achieved.
They should walk off the job and blame Biden by name in doing so. The mandate would not last long if they did. Biden is an empty-headed jerk and people need to come to realize it. Why do you think it took Obama up to almost the election to endorse him. Obama is not a mental giant but he realizes Biden is a little bit slow.
Declare yourself an illegal alien. Get all the free stuff and not have to be vaxed.

That’s great, and a skill that’s probably less well known now than previous generations.
People quit jobs or retire all the time—all they need is options...police officers have lots of options.
Not if all police departments require their members be vaccinated. I really think that part of the reason for the mandates is to remove employment opportunities for those who quit over the vaccination. If all your potential employers are requiring the shot then you either get it, or find a new profession, or starve.
