I know it’s a cliche, but all these people are proving to us that hindsight is 20/20. I wonder how many of these Bush bashers were bashing Bush in 2001 or wishing they had voted for Gore, in the aftermath of 9/11. They should tell us their opinion of Bush and his actions then. Then we can discuss subsequent events.

If you badmouthed W on 9/12/2001 you would likely get a knuckle sandwich. People were actually going out of their way thanking cops, firemen and the troops. You couldn't buy an American flag for months afterwards.
Contrast that with today after years of revisionism from the "We were for him before we were against him" crowd.
