A few stories from the world of real energy (Oil & Gas) and from the make believe world (Renewables)
In the Mid 1990's, Venezuela was to spend about $50 Billion on the development of their high surfer heavy crude. About $10-15 billion was spent on oil field development, plants that allow the heavy to be extracted from the ground and refineries.
With the advent of communism in Venezuela starting about Twenty years ago, today their Oil & Gas industry is almost dead.
A story this week that you will not find on today's programs - China will be investing $50-55 Billion to rebuild Venezuela's oil & Gas infrastructure

Two funny and telling stories out of Europe. In Europe they have been going "green" for the past twenty or so years, Renewables are Europe's current version the Inquisition.
Joe Xiden reversed Mr. Trump's ban on the Russian undersea natural gas pipeline to Germany.

The Russians have reduced their exports of natural gas through their existing southern gas pipeline to Europe, And they have "loitered" in finishing their northern gas pipeline to Germany.

A funny thing this year, in Europe the wind is not producing enough "green" energy, and neither is the sun.

The price of Natural Gas in Europe has gone through the roof.

Something similar is happening in Ireland/U.K

Throughout recorded history, the primary endeavor of Europeans seems to have been killing each other and stealing each others stuff.

How long do you think it will be before Europeans revert to form or will the recent invasion of islam change the metrics of the Europe’s favorite pass time?
