On the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks that killed nearly 3000 people, most of whom were our fellow Americans, and the full impact of that monumental day in our history has yet to be realized. It’s worthwhile, however, to take stock of how it shaped America in 2021. It appears that the targeted attack on America was successful beyond the terrorists’ wildest dreams.
On 9/11, we were shaken to our very cores, aroused from our malaise, and saw the end of an “Age of Innocence.” Immediately after 9/11, the country grieved, mourned, and came together in a way rarely seen in our history. There was a groundswell of patriotism, as millions of American homes proudly displayed the flag and every other car on the road seemed to have flag images attached to the rear window or bumper.
Countless young Americans enlisted in the armed forces while a widely reproduced editorial cartoon depicted an NYC police officer and fireman superimposed over the NYC skyline. Underneath was the caption: “The NEW twin towers of New York City.”
How far we have come since those heady post 9/11 days when the country stood united, even if only briefly. Today, the radical left seems to be in control and we are experiencing a psychological affliction where everything we had previously held sacred, has been turned upside down.

When we release all the secretive documents we will then know the real truth
And considering the rolling holocaust of tens of millions of murdered unborn children, breakdown of morals and rejection of God, that judgment is richly deserved.

The attack was on our economic, military and political centers (Twin Towers, Pentagon, DC)
Little did the terrorists know that all three had already collapsed due to our own arrogance, negligence and lack of vigilance.
We did not protect our economy, our military and our politics from the leftist forces that are aligned with the very jihadists who attacked us.
We allowed our economy to be infiltrated by leftists that place political correctness and “wokeness” over profit and customers.
We allowed our military to be purged of warriors and filled with social workers that have not won a war in over 40 years.
We allowed our politics to be two teams working to enrich themselves, their friends and their families at our expense by running up debt that is insurmountable now.
We the people are to blame. But it was an uphill battle as the forces of education, entertainment and information were aligned against us long before 9/11.
The collapse may come quickly or may take decades....but it is inevitable now.
Only a cataclysmic event on a global scale that destroys nearly everything and forces us to return to basic survival can stop the collapse. But that would be another form of collapse.

I get sick of the “America is doomed” crowd.
History, if anything, shows us that radical change is often literally around the corner. NO ONE in England would have predicted in 1630 that the people would behead a king in the next 15 years. Few predicted the rise of Hitler. In 1990, only a handful of people knew that something called al-Qaeda even existed, and NONE of the experts thought Trump would crush ISIS in 2 years.
If you took a survey of knowledgable people in May 1942, every single one would say we were on our heels in the Pacific, yet one month later, Japan was essentially finished. Yeah, it was going to be extremely bloody, but they couldn’t win after Midway.
The point is the gloomster scenarios, just like the Pollyanna scenarios, don’t take account of what I call “history,” which is the vast ebb and flow of human emotion and intellect that is always countering and reacting to the current situation. Again, in 2014, NO ONE ever predicted Donald Trump would win the GOP nomination, let alone the presidency . . . twice.
Futurists such as George Freedman and Peter Zeihan, while not always right, have a better grip on where things are headed due to demography (working AGAINST globalism & China), energy (ditto), and popular trends for the most part.
Zeihan predicted a US withdrawl from the world and gradual isolation of China 2-3 years before Trump.
