Oh, yeah. These aren't the first high-flown imperial dreams to come down the pike and they've all ended badly for the dreamers.
The country is moving towards rebellion. What will the politicians do? Will they nuke us? Bomb and strafe us? Or sit down, shut up and listen for a change? In a real representative government, it wouldn’t get to that point anyway. What we have is a tyranny.

There is a reason that throughout history, the older men kept their hands on the reins of freedom and it’s direction; the most belligerent and irksome of adherents to what is and has been....
In most all cases, cling to those things.
These men are short on time and long on history...
They will accept much more risk than most. Tradition and prosperity is what they wish to leave.
