And with this evasive terminology my radar went off - because if you just read headlines you would think it was a Jewish doctor who did this. In fact it was an adherent of the religion of peace trying to assure a peaceful outcome by stabbing an officer of the peace.

Well, getting blood work done is not really all that different from bleeding a patient as was approved protocol in the past.

Bleeding could still be considered Alternative Medicine even these days. The Doc was just trying to treat the Cop.

What a misleading headline! He was a Jerusalem doctor, sure; but not a Jewish doctor. The headline leaves it open to speculation.

Why not?
