My 8 year old great-grandson could write a more cogent article. He could at least figure out for a news article you need, who-what-when-where reported concisely. Education is so messed up in this country.

I try my damnedest to stay out of Seattle proper too. Tacoma used to be a problem spot also, but Seattle has unseated them as the biggest sh*tshow in Pugetopolis. My problem is I have to go to UW Medical Harborview twice a year to see a specialist.

Going up to the First Hill area has become a dangerous proposition. It blows my pea brain that Seattle has devolved into such a dystopian utopia. It used to be such a quirky, non-conformist little big town that was safe and actually fun to go visit. Sort of like going to a fusion of a zoo and carnival. Now, RUN LIKE HELL if you ever find yourself there.

I remember having a conversation with some nitwit who was telling me that a TV stolen in a Burglary isn’t worth someone’s Life.

I asked him if he was a Mind Reader, as in, would the Homeowner know what the “intentions” of the Perp who broke in were.

Many years ago our Home, in a very nice Neighborhood BTW was burglarized in the middle of the day. My Wife came home and we still don’t know if the Perp fled through the Front Door as she pulled into our Garage.

I can assure you it would have been difficult to sell our Home if I were there at the time because in CA you have to disclose if anyone ever Died in the Home.

Oh I agree with you buddy!... on all counts! All I'm saying is that handguns are whole lot less effective than most would think... by the numbers involving shootings. ...and I most certainly agree, a center mass shot on a human from any bullet configuration of .40 S&W is very likely going to be fatal.

Oh... my go-to is a Glock gen-3 model 19. It tends to stay loaded with Speer Gold Dot G2 ammo. It's O.k... not my favorite pistol. But I've practiced enough to where I'm as effective as I was with my Colt Series 80 (1911). Besides, it's a Glock, so I can "abuse" it and not feel bad. :-)
