I remember when the Red Cross posted that on their website earlier this year. They took it down quickly, it got scrubbed from all the news stories about it, and fact checkers showed up “debunking” it. I saw it and my husband did too after I sent it to him.
The only news story that they missed was this one:
Yep - and their site says the stopped the plasma program due to need for other blood products - which is bogus because the consider plasma donors to be “elite”.
