Her actions were stupid. Banks are required to file suspicious activity reports with the government, and wait to hear back - that’s how the anti-money-laundering system works. If the government tells them to close the account, then they close the account. If the government asks them to help investigate, they help with the investigation.

There is literally nothing to see here.

Except maybe that the government knows the full scope of global money laundering operations and still does nothing to stop them... that might be a little bit of information valuable to the “public interest”.
