I had my share of jolts doing 110 live wiring. Wouldn’t risk 220 though.

I did it with a wire coat hanger that was stretched out to about three feet. Dad was busy putting together a model for me so I was bored, just dangling the wire hanger in the air, and decided to put it in the socket.

Didn’t hurt me much but I yelled and it scared Dad so he yelled at me. At that point the model building was over.

I guess I was about 5 or 6. I’m 66 as well.

My old man disconnected me from the socket by clobbering me with a wicker wastebasket. Lucky that he was in the room.
