Immunity is not the same as vaccination and vaccination does not always confer immunity. Further, it would seem that the vaccines decrease the body’s natural immunity process and can arguably make the situation worse.

So I disagree with this health official. First, “herd immunity” does not provide any immunity and second, the current Covid vaccines will not get the population to “herd immunity”.

I’m afraid you don’t understand the concept of herd immunity. It doesn’t mean the virus dies off and nobody ever gets it again.It just means that when a certain portion of the population has aquired the anti bodies that it it’s harder and harder to spread the virus so therefore fwer and fwer people get it.

Agreed. The "variants" serve at least three related purposes.

One, as you point out, they are the scapegoat, an excuse as to why the vaccines aren't 95% effective as initially claimed.

Two, they are an ongoing excuse for boosters - a cash cow gift to pharmaceutical companies for playing ball with the political powers.

Three, the threat of the latest vaccine-evading variant will be used to continue the "temporary" but "necessary" un-Constitutional power grabs and continued fascist stomping on freedoms and liberties. They will be the foot in the door to restrict travel, work, business. The worst parts of the old Soviet Union and Nazi regimes? We're marching right towards them.

At some point your body will reject all of the vaccine pushed into it and will react.
I received the maximum # of shots allowable for hepatitis(vax wouldn’t take)(work requirement) After the final dose, I got psoriasis and have been suffering from it for almost 15 years. Gonna hate to see what happens after 3,4,5 doses of this vax.
