You can be sprite ad healthy and sharp at 75, like Trump. You can also be feeble and confused and weak in your late 70’s like Biden. It’s genetics and general health fitness.

My wifes side of the family all live to 95-103. Here Aunt died at 103 and was sharp as a whip and still driving at 100.
My side of the family grew up around steel mills and coal mines. My family is lucky to hit 70. Cancer is rampant. Most of my aunts and uncles died from cancer by age 75. 5-6 of my cousins and my own mom died from cancer by age 65...mostly pancreatic.
My wife is 60, zero health issues. BP, is normal, zero meds.
I want to retire but my wife is worried about outliving our money.
