Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) on Tuesday decried House Democrats killing an investigation into U.S. military gear abandoned in Afghanistan following President Joe Biden’s deadly evacuation.

I don’t care about the military equipment left over there. I care about the Americans left. I care about the fact that this Administration isn’t even allowing private groups attempt to get them out!! I care about those dogs this pathetic Administration left to be tortured and killed.

That’s what I care about. And NOTHING will change until we have free and fair elections in this country.

The other things you care about you should, but you should definitely care about the equipment left. It isn’t going to stay there. The suicide bomb that killed 13 - it was made from explosives recovered from weapons or supplies we abandoned. They aren’t going to have the helicopters operational for very long, but the advanced rifles and night vision equipment will be sent by the dozen to a thousand terrorist groups around the world. A huge advantage for our troops has been that we have ruled the night - but we will be running into this stuff for years if not decades.
