Just ticked that some FReepers think it’s okay to advocate violence on a site that we are all guests on, without any concern for the consequences to FR.

That’s a fair point. Instances of racism and anti-Semitism also show up here now and again. That should be no surprise. Free Republic, like any group anywhere, mirrors society as a whole. You’ll get all types.
There can be no excuse for obviously racist or anti-Semitic comments. But here’s the thing. Americans are, in general, a blunt people when it comes to politics. So perhaps a bit of leeway should be given there. And for egregious cases, hit that Abuse button and let JimRob decide.
