How much would Pelosi be charged for that face of hers? Gotta be a few lbs of plastic in there somewhere.

I am not in favor of this tax (or any tax proposed by Dems), bu there IS too much plastic. Don’t know what the alternative is though.
To: ChicagoConservative27
I’m surprised they don’t just propose a tax on anything made from petroleum or its by-products, that would be most everything.

I was in Maine a few weeks back, they require a 5 cent tax if you want your purchases in a plastic bag.
Paper bags of course are hard to come by...because I guess trees and paper mills became evil about 30 years ago.
I’m just glad I’m old and only have to deal with this BS for just a few short years

Instead I’d like to see a tax on Democrat voters to pay for their stupidity. $10k per Democrat vote per election, retroactive to 2008.

After the plastic, cotton, polyester (whoops, that’s plastic!) water, food, air and finally life taxes (Members of Congress and the #JihadJunta will be exempt, of course) then they will steal your 401K, pension, Social Security (what happened to AlGore’s Loxbox anyway?) and the middle class will be broke and enslaved…

For years our locals recycled plastic. It had to be taken by trucks to North Carolina. After it was decided that it cost too much our state stopped recycling plastic. They didn’t tell the people so they were still separating plastic for 4-5 years. It ended up in the local landfills until they finally stopped the program that hadn’t existed for a while.
