I didn’t think the new law does anything to block abortions...

It just lets anyone sue those that facilitated an abortion after the baby has a heart beat.

How would anyone know a baby with a heartbeat got aborted? Assuming the mother keeps quiet of course.

I can’t figure out how anyone outside the clinic would know or could prove a fetus had a heartbeat.

Who is likely to bring such a suit? A father who did not want his child killed? Will someone have to testify to hearing a heartbeat?

This does not sound straightforward.
