Congressional and NGO sources say here are at least two physical plans on the ground and six more with approved clearance. The obstacle is the Taliban -- which controls the airport and is not letting people board or the planes take off.

The lesson of Benghazi was don’t count on the US Gubmint under a Gimmedat administration to get you out. Having read the report and talked to two people involved, Benghazi was about covering up the fact that Amb. Stevens was in Benghazi prepping for a Hillary victory lap in November.
The folks at Benghazi didn’t want Stevens there due to hostility i the region and they knew him prior to him being made ambassador as he had gotten into Libya several times under the radar. They said he was the real deal.
Khadaffi loyalists got the Americans out of Benghazi & Libya. The American troops that were sent were commanded to get in/out of their uniforms a 1/2 dozen times on their flight to Libya because the Odumbo admin was concerned about the optics of an American invasion.
