GOP Ad Campaign Exposing Biden's Failures in Afghanistan
Rumble ^ | September 1, 2021 | GOP

Here's a campaign ad from the GOP. I get the distinct message that Biden was wrong on Afghanistan, and Obama was right.

This ad demonstrates exactly what is wrong with the GOP and what we can expect as long as Mitt Romney's niece, Ronna McDaniel is GOP Chair.

I have no idea what logic they use. Couldn't they find any Republicans to make the ad? Couldn't they show Republicans being correct? Couldn't they show President Trump being right?

They have people like Leon Panetta making their argument. By the way, Panetta was wrong about his Bay of Pigs quip in the ad. It is not an analog to Afghanistan.

You can always count on the GOP to show up AFTER the event to tell us all what went wrong, who was wrong and what should have been done.

Getting out in front of issues is a thing they have forgotten how to do, because NO ONE wants to take responsibility for anything!

They are afraid of their own shadow when it comes to going on record against the DNC or challenging the MSM.

I would rather see the Republicucks call for resignation unanimously.

Whether or not Creepshow Joe is mentally responsible for continuing the obama disaster is a side argument.

Neither could have done it without help from their good friends in the GOP.

Plenty of Republicans current and former officials were out in the moment criticizing the inept actions

Yet no resignations! They are biting their time and hoping we forget what just took place!

NOT ONE PENNY of mine goes to the RNC.

Support Trump-endorsed conservative challengers directly. We need a RINO purge in the 2022 primaries. It's the only way we take back the party and the country.

The RINOs should be the ones to start their own party. Make them go through the arduous signature process to get on the ballot. The Republican party belongs to WE THE PEOPLE, not to the smug elites who gave the Steal to Potato Joe on a platter.

I'm sure as heck not sitting out the primaries so those traitors can get away with their part in the Steal.

If everyone with an (R) after their name was a fearless conservative who would fight like Trump, the Republican party would be unstoppable.

“I have no idea what logic they use. Couldn’t they find any Republicans to make the ad?”

Though I assume your point was rhetorical, here’s an explanation (not an endorsement): Wise or not, the “logic” is to put the criticism of Biden in Democrat mouths so it can’t be dismissed as partisan. The intent is to change the minds of independents and old-fashioned Democrats. The assumptions are that:
1) such voters are where elections are won or lost;
2) such voters would reflexively block the same message if delivered by a Republican;
3) it would be a waste to air ads aimed at conservatives, who need little persuading regarding Biden and his misdeeds.

This is consistent with the RNC philosophy that true-believer conservatives should be despised, ignored, and taken for granted, while independents and moderates need to be courted. There is a good bit of self-loathing involved — the RNC obviously regards Republicans as negatives who will only fire up the opposition. The notion of firing up your own base strikes them as vulgar.

Maybe the idea here was to show Democrats blasting Democrats?

Obviously, and a very weak approach. This is a situation when we want create a clear contrast between Republicans and Democrats. One of the biggest take-aways from Biden's surrender is that Biden is weak. By the "associative property" of politics, than means Democrats are weak. By the "reciprocal property" of politics, that means Republicans are strong. While it isn't true in the case of RINOs, particularly the RNC, that is exactly the message the RNC should avoid. This ad makes Democrats look strong. The lack of a Republican attack makes Republicans look weak. People are sick of Republicans that do not fight.

Effectiveness is when you can take advantage of both sides of the coin: Biden and Democrats are weak. Trump and Republicans are strong. Sell your product, not theirs.

That was an excellent ad. It should be on every commercial break on CNN and MSNBC

This could be very effective, but it is just an online video designed to preach to the choir. It would need to have a substantial amount of money behind it so a majority of the population would see it.

They are supposed to point out what Biden did before he did it? How does that work?

I see the point, but also using these clips inoculates against the claim it is “right wing propaganda to smear Biden.” If you can get the opponents to shoot themselves you avoid the blowback.

That’s exactly what they are doing - just ride it out until the public “forgets” and “Moves on” - worked for the governor of Virginia. Having the media in your corner helps with that. Meanwhile, things Trump never even said never went away - like saying that some white supremacists and neonazis were “good people” - never happened, yet also never went away - due to the media.

If you have been in politics all your life, if you have a command of the facts and issues, if you know the situation we're in, if you know what's got to be done, IF you CARE about the US....then you can certainly open your mouth and speak intelligently and speak up for your constituents ... instead of sitting there like a potted plant while this moron goes 90 miles an hour in the wrong direction!! I think what they do is called, ‘Monday morning quarterbacking’... TOO little TOO late
