Employers can’t request vaccination status but they can ask that employees voluntarily provide their vaccination status.

This isn't true, at least here in the US. (You're on the company property; they can demand this info. If you state that you will not get this shot, you have medical privacy that provides some protection; it doesn't mean that they can't fire you.)

This isn't true, at least here in the US.

At a Fortune 100 company I work for, I've been told HIPAA rules forbid them to ask directly--and they act as if that were so. They're very PC, so I'm sure they would ask while speaking through a proctoscope if they were allowed.
