There is something strange about the stiff resistance Australia was offering China to its belligerent expansionist provocations, earlier, now to be followed by this descent into insanity.
I guess you can scratch Australia off of any list of those who will aid the West.
We require Australia in the pacific. China doesn’t like that, never has.
Maybe China got its claws into the government there (blackmail?), and is telling em “do this or else”.
AU may be next on China’s list, after Afghanistan/Iran.
