Is FR social media in this sense? Or not, because it is anonymous.
Asking for a friend.
Hard to believe they haven’t been doing this all along.
They would only know of my social media if I tell them. I would show them my FB because it’s plain vanilla boring, which is why I have it. Go ahead, scrub away!
I think “your friend” would be safe in this regard on an anonymous social media account as long as they haven’t posted any identifying information.
But BLM and AntiFa hate speech are a-ok!
How do they react when an employee insists they have never had a social media account?
Does that mean BLM protests are not allowed?
The potential for getting folks you don’t like in trouble is off the charts...

Bump!
“Does that mean BLM protests are not allowed?”
The website says they redact information from “protected classes”.
Anyone who sends their kids to Austin ISD is guilty of child abuse.

Monitoring and scoring thoughts and words = PRC
It won’t be enough to just not have negative social media posts.
If you want to move up in your career, you’ll need to show a history of posting narrative affirming social justice items.
No doubt anything related to them would be all okee dokee. And just who is the arbiter of what is and isn’t? Smells like 🔥🐂💩 to me.

Yes, FR is social media. No, you aren’t anonymous. A user some years ago proved to me that he could locate my name. I, however, have never tried to make a secret of my name, but apparently there is meta data that hackers can use to find you. A VPN (virtual private network. This hides your IP address, which tells people where you are and who you are) may, or may not, protect you. Recall that the FBI clandestinely sold an app that purported to let people text each other in complete privacy. It was a trap and the FBI, in coordination with police agencies around the world, swept in and made a huge number of criminal arrests. So, is the VPN you buy actually hiding your IP address from everyone? You pays your money and you takes your chance.
Welcome to the Chinese system of monitoring, lao wai.
