It won't affect Ill people - it's a TX law.
If folks in other states don't like it I encourage them to stay out of Texas.
It does not take away a woman's right to abortion. She is free to get one in TX before a fetal heartbeat. If she's having unprotected sex and/or misses a period all she has to do is go to the local abortion Health Clinic for a blood test.
There are plenty of ways to prevent 'needing an abortion'. Keeping your legs closed is one that's easy and free. Abortion is NOT a birth control method any more than killing the repo man is an acceptable method of avoiding the car payment you agreed to.
If she's bound and determined to get an abortion no one is stopping her from leaving TX to get one.
I am so sick of these asshats in 'blue' states telling other states how to live.
Texas should just cut ties and leave the enlightened people to bow to DC while they slowly destroy themselves. This is the time to do it - all DC will do is abandon everything and evacuate TX in an orderly, safe and efficient panic.
