A senior Chinese air force officer has said his country’s military will not be scared by the United States, citing past confrontations between China’s armed forces and their US counterparts.

“The air force has always upheld the mottos that, first, we are not afraid of suffering, and second, we are not afraid of death,” air force spokesman Shen Jinke said on Tuesday.

Shen was responding to comments by new United States Air Force secretary Frank Kendall, who said the US would continue investing in leap-ahead technologies that “will be intimidating to our future enemies”.

Shen said China’s People’s Liberation Army was not afraid of challenges, pointing to its participation in the Korean war in 1953 against the US military.

All anyone has to do is watch the video that shows the 3 recruiting videos for the Russians, Chinese and the US to know what’s going on. Sad.

The only danger to our enemies is them laughing to death.

Now that there are no troops in Afghanistan, we should blow the Three Gorges Dam.

Look up “chinese miltiary problems” on google, yotube, etc. Much of China’s military prowess is in Chinese TV shows.

As a veteran and retired firefighter our motto was always “NEVER LEAVE A MAN BEHIND.” I am so pissed about this BS and this clown is put forward with a speech to say how successful it was. I’m sure the media will run with it. I live in rural Texas, I told my son days ago the media story is gonna switch to the hurricane and how Joe is saving the day

Partner, the Chicoms sent in 9 Divisions to beat the 1st Division of the USMC which was only protecting the right flank in present North Korea and the Chicoms were hurting years after the 1st Division of USMC pulled out safely from the Chicoms.

The whole country in the U.S. was thinking that the USMC division in NK was lost and here they were coming out of NK.

We agree that was the major mistake not nuking the heck out of the 27 divisions since the Chicoms sent in 27 divisions to fight the Army and international forces and the 1st Division of the USMC was protecting the right flank.

We had battle harded USMC 1st Div. to fight from WWII and fight they did to protect the right flank of the U.S. forces.

On December 9, 1950, MacArthur requested authorization to use atomic bombs at his discretion. MacArthur followed up this request on December 24 with a "a list of retardation targets" for which he required 26 atomic bombs. He also wanted four to drop on the "invasion forces" and four more for "critical concentrations of enemy air power." These requests were denied.

I’m sure the media will run with it.

They might, but "Siden with Biden" isn't too popular these days. I'm sure the media is a little leery of him taking them down with him.

Even after Korea, the US Army had a doctrine for use of battlefield tactical nuclear weapons. An example of an appropriate target was “battalions massing.” Any such large concentrations of troops and equipment was considered a reasonable target for a tactical nuke, well into the 6o’s. It may or may not have been articulated by the time of Korea. IDK about that.

Should have nuked them back across the Yalu River.

And where their bodies were piled 6 feet high in front of our troops and they still kept coming. MacArthur wanted to lay a strip of Cobalt-60 across North Korea - Truman fired him for the idea. Typical Democrat.

Much of China’s military prowess is in Chinese TV shows.

Don’t forget the parades! Also rests in making clever mock ups to intimidate everyone while impressing the locals

Sad thing is, with our current leadership, we are too.

Sad thing is, because of offshoring of strategic industry, technology and with our current leadership, we are too.

Fixed it.

I can bet they did, sounds like a good movie script. There’s no doubt we were kicking ass in Korea until the chinese flooded unexpectantly over the border and for the safety of south K we saved them
