(Headline USA) Wisconsin‘s Democrat Gov. Tony Evers was directly responsible for many of the efforts to revise election rules, permitting looser restrictions on mail-in ballots, outdated voter rolls and late deadline.
But after evidence has emerged increasing the likelihood of a forensic audit led by the state’s GOP legislature, Evers is now complaining about the price tag.
Evers claimed Monday that it was “outrageous” that Republicans planned to spend $680,000 on an investigation into the 2020 election in Wisconsin, accusing Assembly Speaker Robin Vos of “drinking the Kool-Aid” after meeting with former President Donald Trump.
A Republican-controlled Assembly committee gave approval Monday, on a 5-3 party-line vote, to designating former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman as special counsel to lead the investigation ordered by Vos, assist the Assembly Elections Committee and hire investigators and others as needed.
Vos said on Friday that the contract will allow for spending up to $680,000 on the probe. That is more than nine times as much as the original contract with Gableman.
The vote comes a week after Vos flew with Trump to a campaign rally in Alabama where the two discussed the Wisconsin investigation. Vos suggested that the emergence of new evidence had prompted him to reverse his course.
“I think it’s outrageous,” Evers said of the GOP election probe, saying the money would be wasted.
“Things changed a bit when Robin Vos went down and visited Donald Trump and got that nice picture on the plane,” Evers said. “Apparently they’re all drinking the Kool-Aid. But I think it was really, really unfortunate. What it tells me is that this is going to be wide-ranging and probably $680,000 at a minimum and they’re going to be coming up with all kinds of things that frankly aren’t true.”
Following a series of extraordinarily suspicious circumstances, Democrat Joe Biden was declared victor in Wisconsin by just under 21,000 votes.
Previous recounts have focused on Dane and Milwaukee counties, and and several lawsuits have stalled.
But the Public Interest Legal Foundation recently noted that the number of ballots lost in the mail alone was nearly four times Biden’s alleged margin of victory.
“We had a fair election this last time,” Evers insisted.
“Joe Biden is president and the continued attack on our democracy is just absolutely ridiculous,” he continued. “In my wildest dreams, when I decided to run for this office, I never thought protecting democracy would be one of the key things we do.”
Sounds like they should check back a few elections too
Also, you allowed “voting collection in the parks in Madison” for two weekends, having illegally “assisted” people dropping off the ballots to correct them. These “mailed in ballots” wee supposed to be kept separate from legitimate absentee ballots..... but oh gee..... they were immediately mixed in together.
Total FRAUD. But we have feckless weak Republicans that just let this all happen.
Disgusting stolen election. NOW you look Gov. Evers at the mess we've endured in just 7 short months. 13 service members dead, 20 more wounded. Afghan a humiliation, open borders, hardened Muslims at our Ft. McCoy, allowed to just leave the facility. No vetting.
Need I go on?
Not the Babylon Bee?
The cheese isn’t the only thing rotten in Wisconsin. If it has a “D” after the person’s political registration, it is rotten, esp. at the top of the political pyramid.
Soros and the deep state have spent many years getting these infiltrators in place. And they knew that they had to control many parts of the system or else there massive vote fraud would be detected. Right after the 2000 election it was publicly known that Soros started going after the SOS positions.
Remember the women SOS from Florida at the time. She followed the law, but if she had not then Gore would have won. The deep state set out to make sure that they controlled those decisions from that point on. We all heard about that back then. And they have gone after many different political positions now. That is why it is so hard to look at vote fraud.
Wisconsin more than Michigan and Pennsylvania has a pretty good chance of becoming a solid red state. Milwaukee just isn’t that big. If a conservative can defeat Evers in 2022, Wisconsin can have a real and wide ranging audit as well as election integrity laws that would prevent the kind of fraud that happened in November.....and it was particularly obvious in Wisconsin as that late night dump of tens of thousands of ballots all for Biden show.
Nevermind the fact that running the election was simply handed over to paid out of state “consultants” in a few key counties and nevermind the fact that 4X as many claimed they couldn’t vote in person due to disability as had ever previously claimed to have any such disability.
Take your Marxist ‘democracy’ and shove it up your ars.
We’re a republic, jackass.
When you elect an ART TEACHER as Governor-—What did you expect??
“We had a fair election this last time,” Evers insisted, “Just like the one that deposed the tyrant Walker.”
“Joe Biden is president and the continued attack on our democracy is just absolutely ridiculous,” he continued. “In my wildest dreams, when I decided to run for this office, I never thought protecting democracy would be one of the key things we do, he said. Then adding, “Why, one of the first pronouncements I made on assuming this office was that I had no intention of abiding by either the Wisconsin Constitution or Wisconsin law - such dire straits the tyrant Walker left my state in. I’m here to protect this fair democracy our ancestors in the Democrat Party labored so long and hard to create.”
Babylon Bee
With nearly tears in my eyes due to what is happening to our great country, no sir not sarcasm.
