All over the United States, elected officials are acting like petty tyrants and abusing the citizens they serve. The Palm Beach County School board is one of the worst.
Last week, PBCSD chair Frank Barbieri had parent Everett Cooper forcibly removed from a public meeting and arrested for the horrific crime of standing in the back of the room.
“My name is Everett Cooper. I am being arrested for standing in the back of the room,” he pronounced as police took him away.

First thing I'd do is see if you can rustle up some other parents interested enough to find out if anything hinky is going on. There's power in numbers.

The emotional adulation of law enforcement glorification etc. etc. contradicts sound doctrine in terms of Faith as I learned it.
This went on 100% in the last district I worked for before retirement (last year).
Loss of enrollment means loss of teachers, administrators and funds top to bottom so no one ever said a thing.
And, of course, no audit, ever.
All a student has to do to be counted Present for the full day, for the school to be paid is go till NOON.
When my Grandson graduated HS the nasty biased Principal recognized students with 100% attendance for the year. He had not missed a day from K-12. No recognition. Only Place Kicker to be recognized on the Jeff Fisher sports show, Nashville, TN.

Loudon County, VA, has you one-upped.
I have seen reports from Oregon and Virginia of school board members quitting or “retiring” because of all the hate they have received. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving group of people.
Oh, it's far worse than that. All we had to do is make one phone call home - whether it connected or not didn't matter (means we 'reached out') and the kid would be marked present for the day - or still enrolled even if we hadn't seen the kid in months and months.
Happened every day, all the time.
