The Taliban and Al-Qaeda and ISIS and even Iran, will be respecting a safe zone, just like they respected the U.S. on 9/11.
Terrorist don’t recognize truces or cease-fires or peace pacts or peace talks or safe zones.

This might work if it’s reclassified as a “rented zone”. As in, We’d be happy to get you millions of dollars in bribes and “humanitarian aid”. In return, please let us pretend that we’re still relevant for a while.
