That cartoon you posted kind of sums up one of my posts. That is EXACTLY how the left treats Islam versus conservative Christians, and pointing out a few right-wing outliers on the Internet who admire the Taliban doesn't change that.
The left ALWAYS defends Islam against the West. The only reason they criticize the Taliban is so they can compare Christians to the Taliban. They draw a false distinction between the Taliban and Islam in general.
