I just stumbled upon the fact that retired officers and enlisted men are considered to be subject to the UCMJ while "retired" and are even subject to recall to active duty (and court martial) if some Colonel or General has a hair up his/her a$$ regarding a particular matter.
This was done only once, as far as I know. Certainly not enough to either threaten or scare anybody. My oath was to the Constitution - not a brain-dead CINC or his ass-kissing perfumed princes.
