This is not to be construed as anything MORE than “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”.
There are “less radical” Moslems who just didn’t like Taliban version. Just because they helped doesn’t make them your friend. You may just be the most useful thing at the moment.
So frankly, I don’t really want to hear it from soldiers and marines that we have all these friends to save and take in fully.
Let them go to Moslem countries.
