3rd world islamic armies have a reputation for folding up when faced with a determined opponent. The Israelis have demonstrated this for years.
The latest example was when isis in Iraq took over half the country in pick up trucks. They captured Mosul while entire iraqi divisions abandoned equipment and fled. isis made it to the suburbs of Baghdad before they were stopped by shiite militias, not govt troops.
