Rather than all the wasted money on elec cars that don’t work it would be better to allow UTVs for city driving.
For about $8k you can get a 4x4 UTV that seats 2, gets about 50 mpg, goes about 30 mph, will haul 1/4 ton, and will go in 8” of snow and ice.
For the price of one small car you could buy 3 UTVs, enough for the whole family to drive in any weather rain or shine, summer or winter.
