The officer who shot Babbit wasn't identified because they didn't have to, not because he's black. I agree with you here, but this speaks to a different problem. Why does the capitol city allow for police to be shielded from their actions in this manner?

Why does the capitol city allow for police to be shielded from their actions in this manner? It's not D.C., it's Congress. They passed the law. Probably because looking into the workings of the Capitol Police might result in information on Congress coming out.
