Or when an employer demands that employees get an abortion or get fired. Seems like an easy way around the employer’s responsibilities under the Family Medical Leave Act, if they can just mandate medical procedures now.
Exactly. In theory I agree with her. However, in the real world it’s likely that many of these companies are either run by libs, who don’t deserve self-determination because they don’t believe in it, or the managers world prefer not to be tyrants and banning mandates would give them an out. On balance, mandate bans are probably good.

Or even how about women can’t work at xyz unless they are sterilized. This also forces a permanent irreversible medical decision on the employee they may not want.
